Powder Coating

Powder Coating is a relatively new technology that
offers a number of advantages over traditional wet
spray technology. Powder coating offers a more
robust finishing option giving the coated item a longer
operational life. Corrosion resistant zinc rich coatings
can be applied to further extend product life.
High temperature resistance.
Longer lasting colour when compared to wet spray.

Common items that are powder coated include
gates, railings, brackets, bike frames.

 

  
 

A number of finishes can be applied using powder coating including:
• Any degree of gloss from matt through to high gloss
• Hammered
• Textured
• Wrinkled
Classic car restoration, many parts of a restoration project can utilize powder coating to give a tough and visually pleasing finish, such as roll cages, rocker head covers, brake calipers suspension components and much more...

Emmdan Fabrications Ltd specializes in small to medium sized powder coating jobs, equipped with a 3m x 2.8m x 2.8m Gas Fired Box Oven and a 3m Wet-wash Spray-booth.
All powders are sourced from Cromadex, a company that allows us to have complete confidence in the quality of the powders being applied.
